IDSA 2010 Sketches

I had the opportunity to attend an Industrial Design conference. It was pretty good, I took excellent notes:

There was a panel discussion with several industry leaders.

I actually drew this during a very interesting talk/interview by Michael Czysz. It was all about how he built an exceptionally fast electric motorcycle, I got inspired.

I had a middle seat on the plane from Portland to New York. Both ways. I did this to kill time.

Robot Waiter and Patron

This is one I did a couple of years ago. I was doing some cleaning today and found it. I had to share.

The Secret Waterfall

When I was younger, I watched The Secret Garden with my sisters.  Bad movie.  I could think of a few things that would have spiced it up a bit.  I'd start with the title.

Valentines Day

Names were removed to protect the innocent.  If I didn't send you one, and you would like a valentine from me, you may print one off and then write your name on the various robots' signs.

Tank v. Robot

Another old drawing. Just in case there was any doubt about what would happen if a tank met a robot.

Sketch Mining

I've been pretty busy with school--retouching the portfolio and all--so here's one of my old favorites.
WD-40 is a robot's best friend.

Old Stuff

Old picture from my sketchbook. I decided to add a little blue. Smurfs.

A Christmas Post

It's not Christmas without snow. Sorry California, Florida, and the southern hemisphere.

Homage to the great suburban teen

Went to my friend's house. Her little sister showed me some ink drawings. I always draw in pen, but it had been forever since my last work with ink and brush. It doesn't work at all for products, but kind of fun for sketching.

What I'm thinking at any given time of any given day.
